Glass slippers glistening in the sun

Prince Charming
Fell in love
With the dragon

Life in a fairy tale is going just as it always has. Cinderella is cleaning, Red Riding Hood is working on getting eaten, Beast is still working on wooing Beauty, and Sleeping Beauty is. . . well. . . still sleeping. The all mighty, all knowing Narrator is still winging on about their respective lives. But what if he dies? The Narrator, the proverbial God in this universe, is dead, leaving behind a host of unfinished stories in his wake. Cinderella is still cleaning! Is there a prince coming for her? Is anyone going to save Red Riding Hood? Or will she die in the Wolf’s belly? And what about Beast? Does he even have a chance now that Beauty isn’t actually forced to see the good in him? And Sleeping Beauty? Someone is trying to get to her, but what if it’s not the prince?

With the Narrator’s passing, everything is in chaos. For once in their perfect lives, times are filled with uncertainty! Nothing is going how it should. There’s no reason that trolls can’t invade, that witches can’t rule. The fairies are having to choose sides now that they don’t have to be fairy godmothers anymore. To make matters worse, their worlds are bleeding together. Cinderella might run into Snow White. That mermaid who ended up as sea foam waiting for her love to return to her is still alive in the sea. The villains and villainesses could meet and take advantage of the confusion. This could go either way.

What will happen? Everyone is going to have to forge an alliance either with the darkness or light. Will you fight for your happy ending? Or try to destroy everyone else’s?
