Detailed Description of Mutation: Ororo munroe is most known for her power to control what is known as the weather. Se could make it as sunny as she wants or can bring out the worst storm if she needs; the weather is under her power. The only flaw in this is that it is limit, usually only stretching around the region she is in.
Her powers go farther beyond that. Weather Manipulation is only the tip of her powers. She also has the ability of Energy Perception and Ecological Empathy. These two keep her in tuned with the surrounding ecology and with the pressure around her.
Because of her weather powers, she has weather and extreme temperature resistance as well. A blizzard or hurricane wouldn’t faze her, she could stand in the middle of it and it wouldn’t cause harm to her. She also can see in darkness and has an amazing dexterity.
In conjunction to all of the above, she has latent natural magic abilities. Meaning that if she wants to zap you with a lightning bolt she wont be restricted to do so. This aids her in quick offensive attacks and such.
Lastly Storm has the ability of flight. Flight in conjunction with the rest of her abilities aids her in her attacks. An example would be that if she were to strike from above and cause a heavy fog, no one would really see her and she could brutally take a mutant down.
Although not considered a mutation power, Storm can use her lightning for inter-dimensional transportation. However this is only achieved when using her ancestral Ruby.
With the stated above, Storm can do the almost impossible things. Sometimes it is said that if she is pushed too far her powers can make her that of an omega-mutant… that is if you anger her or make a specific emotion too potent in her.

Personality (at least two good paragraphs): Ororo is not one who you would see with a specific emotion splayed out. She keeps them in check having a calm and collected aura surrounding her making people feel comfortable around her.
In a way, Storm is like the mother of all the students. She views them as her children and she is their protector, ironically this can symbolize that of mother earth and all those that dwell on her.
One of the most notable things about Storm is when she is angered or overcome by grief, her powers tend to get out of control and expect bad weather. With all her anger she can take out the strongest mutants and not be harmed at all which is why at these times her powers raise to make her an Omega mutant.
Despite that Storm is very strategic, because of having her emotions in check she is able to use logic when in a situation… which is sometimes why she might clash with Wolverine usually he dashes head first into any situation.
Another prominent thing about Storm is her Claustrophobia. After the events in Egypt hat killed her parents she has developed this condition, partially as to why she hates being on ground and prefers to fly and be free.
What is odd about Storm is her resistance to telepathy. This is mostly because of her strong will but also because of the electric fields she creates around herself. This is why telepaths find it extremely hard to track her down. Professor Xavier sometimes may have a hard time as well, but usually he is the quickest in tracking her down.

Ororo Munroe was born in New York city to N’Dare tribal princess of Kenya and David Munroe an African American Photographer. While her father was stationed in Egypt (which is probably where Ororo learned Arabic from) during the Suez Crisis, sadly a jet crashed into their house killing her parents and leaving her orphaned. Buried under rubble and still alive Ororo developed an extreme case of Claustrophobia.
Ororo was then found by a street lord in Cairo named Achmed el-Gibar. She becomes a thief for him allowing her to be quite powerful in hand to hand combat and quite stealthy (she has been able to beat Callisto and Crimson commando in hand to hand combat).
At one point she was to steal from her future mentor Professor Xavier, and out of curiosity followed him to Serengeti. It was then she had met her future husband and at that time teenage fling T’Challa, later to be known as Black Panther.
While in Serengeti Ororo at one point was worshiped as a rain goddess by an African spiritual tribe. Then she was recruited by the professor as one of the first members of the X-Men. As time went by and after almost mastering her abilities (except for when her emotions went haywire) Storm had become a mentor of some of the younger mutants becoming a mother of sorts to them as well. In fact, Ororo had supplanted Scott Summers as leader of the X-Men.
During this time Ororo had developed feelings for a fellow X-Men named Forge. Eventually the relationship ends as a few misunderstandings took place. This however wasn’t the end of her romantic life. Ororo went back to Africa leaving the X-Men. She meets up with her teenaged love T’Challa now known as the Black Panther. The two still have feelings for each other and eventually get married making Ororo the queen of Wakanda Kingdom.
After many odd run-ins with other superheroes and villains, eventually Ororo gets bored with the Queen life and returns to her other family the X-Men where she is one of the two leaders with her friend Scott Summers.

Being one of the Mutants to fight there Storm has now lost her power. Finding herself feeling odd, she hates not having her powers, the absence of it is making her feel vulnerable.
However because of this her emotions can be displayed easily and with it she doesn't have to be as reserved as before.
Writing Sample (4 good paragraphs OF THE CHARACTER YOU ARE APPLYING FOR):
Storm’s mind was miles away. She wasn’t exactly walking but rather gliding using the wind around her to get lighter and slightly lift her off the ground. Her arms was wrapped around her frame a small from was on her face.
Reminiscing, it was usually a bad thing to do. Her emotions should not be frayed by horrible memories of her parents death or by all the wrings she had done as a thief. She had killed the innocent for money and jewels it was so wrong…
Her eyes looked up to the sky the her eyes were no longer the coal black ones she had been born with but had blended in with the whites of her eyes giving her a scary look. Her white eyes stared up into the sky,she was speeding up the process of evaporation, now moving into condensation. After the Clouds had formed it began to rain.
The large splatters sent most of the Students running in. A few stayed out, mostly because their powers relied on water and rained. A few of them looked at her probably wondering why she was acting so strange.
Raising her head up to the sky the splatters cascaded down her dark skin. Her lips pulled up in a smile. Her short outfit would have made any other woman run for cover as the weather was getting colder, but Storm never felt it she was immune to heat and coolness of the atmosphere.
Slowly she felt herself be raised up, her body drifting higher up the wind carrying her getting lighter. It was then a small call from below awoken her senses. Looking down she saw a few of her colleagues looking up at her with quizzical stares.
She smiled and slowly allowed the weather to return to its former sunny glory. Her feet were now slowly returning to the earth, she had gone too high up. She stopped just above the surface unable to let her feet touch the ground, the claustrophobia would probably kick back in, recently she’s been feeling extra cautious afraid that any moment someone would lock her inside of a dark room.
Giving them all a smile she shook her head knowing that they were probably wondering if she was alright. No need to worry them, she was only remembering all the dark spots of her life.
“It’s nothing unusual; I assure you I am fine.” She knew that they would believe her because it was nothing more than the truth. She was fine, she was doing well it was just her mind drifting.
