"Scott, you shouldn't have done that. You know I don't like it when you hurt yourself."
Closing his eyes, Scott brought a hand up to press up against her head as she spoke. Of course, he had never totally demolished a room before; that was Logan's forte. However, he had been known to go into hours-long sessions of the Danger Room, the physical effects usually always being the same. "I'm sorry." he told her honestly. "I just--" he paused, sighing out slightly. "I just didn't know what else to do."
However, when her lips brushed against his, Scott's lips twisted into a slight smile as she spoke. "Yeah...this just means we have to go bed shopping now." However, a sharp pain shot through his skull, making him jerk slightly, clenching his eyes shut as a slight grunt of pain escaped his lips. Fingers clenched her hands for a moment before he released them. "God, I've had the worst headache since we got back." he told her honestly, pressing his forehead against hers. "I havn't had a headache this bad since the Orphanage." Of course, they had put duct tape over his eyes for nearly a year.

Jean didn't choose to reply, because she really couldn't say much - if Scott had been the one to die, she probably would have destroyed more than a room. But she wasn't going to say that, as she was trying to steer him off the topic of death.
She smiled slightly, but it was quickly erased as his own fingers flew to his skull, complaining of a headache. A frown flickered over her lips, a shadow of concern crossing her face. "I'm sorry if it's my doing." She whispered, closing her eyes for a moment as his forehead touched hers. "And maybe it's a sign of your powers returning?" She suggested with a small shrug.
He's weak.
Jean's eyes flew open. The voice - it was still there. She thought it was gone. But she tried to control herself - she wasn't going to freak out the minute she got back from being trapped in amneasic hell.
Yes, better to let him complain, I think you've done enough.
Oh great - the voice was snarky too. Just what she needed. But her concern was growing for Scott - if he had never had a headache like this before, it could very well be his powers returning.
